Alpine Sky Golden Retrievers is really a small family-oriented breeder situated in Raleigh, NC. Our fascination with English Cream Golden Retrievers began by having an earnest search for a great family dog. We needed your dog that’s kid-friendly and trainable, with a calm, gentle temperament and we all began searching for breeds that have characteristics compatible with our lifestyle.
Because we enjoy hiking, lake and beach time, we would have liked your pet dog that loved water and exercise. It was also key how the dog not be a barker because we home based. After much research, we chosen the English Cream Golden Retrievers, which was the right fit for all of us.
We wanted months for a quality male coming from a responsible small family breeder, and finally found him. In 2008, we fell completely in love with our first boy, Kozmo, regarding his gentle, sweet nature and happy go lucky attitude. He loves everyone, especially children, so we were immediately passionate about the breed. We added Holly to family and, in 2014, our extended dog family begun to form with the first litter planning to carefully selected friends and family.
After witnessing the enrichment of numerous lives, we were inspired to continue sharing our special dogs with increased families as well as the broader community.
Leveraging their gentle and sweet temperaments, we began certifying some of our own dogs as Therapy Dogs. It is been a satisfying experience for our family, the dogs, and also the individuals receiving the comfort and joy our dogs share with everyone.
We continue our focus on dogs best-suited to be loving loved ones and hopefully future therapy dogs.
