Alpine Sky Golden Retrievers is often a small family-oriented breeder situated in Raleigh, NC. Our love for English Cream Golden Retrievers began by having an earnest look for a great pet dog. We needed a dog that’s kid-friendly and trainable, with a calm, gentle temperament so we began looking for breeds which had characteristics compatible with our lifestyle.
Because we like hiking, lake and beach time, we would have liked a puppy that loved water and workout. It have also been key how the dog not be a barker because we work from home. After much research, we concluded on the English Cream Golden Retrievers, that has been an ideal fit for all of us.
We sought out months for the quality male from a responsible small family breeder, lastly found him. In 2008, we fell completely in love with our first boy, Kozmo, regarding his gentle, sweet nature and happy go lucky attitude. He loves everyone, especially children, and we were immediately obsessed with the breed. We added Holly to family and, in 2014, our extended dog family did start to form with our first litter planning to carefully selected friends and family.
After witnessing the enrichment of numerous lives, we were motivated to continue sharing our special dogs with an increase of families and also the broader community.
Leveraging their gentle and sweet temperaments, we began certifying some of our own dogs as Therapy Dogs. It is been a rewarding experience for the family, the dogs, and the individuals receiving the comfort and joy our dogs share with everyone.
We continue our focus on dogs best-suited to be loving family and hopefully future therapy dogs.
