2016 Xmas Rock-POP music recorded in a Phuket recording studio Thailand

A new 2016 Xmas rock song has been written, created and then recorded in a Phuket recording studio in Thailand by songwriter ‘Mark Hopkins’ with the main goal of providing attention and exposure for the Phuket charity and Orphanage that Mark supports. You can listen and read more by going to the Tsunami Day website .

The songs title is: I’m coming home for Christmas and the songs genre is a unique up-tempo rock/rock-pop track. Mark wrote and semi recorded a demo song guide of ‘I’m coming home for Christmas’ in late 2015 on Phuket and has kept the demo song since then waiting for the possibility to record once again. In August 2016 Mark began the studio recording process and used session musicians to studio record the music over a 6 week period. The songs includes 8 differant tracks and all session players were from the Philippines, including the female lead singer ‘Micah Javier’.
Although I’m coming home for Christmas was studio recorded on Phuket the mixing and mastering was done in the United States due to Mark needed the most effective outcome and quality. The music ready to be listened to and downloaded by visiting the ‘Tsunami Day’ Website.
The main aim of recording I’m coming home for Christmas is to bring as many folks to the Tsunami Day website as possible and then ideally in-turn they will be kind enough to give to 1 or every one of the Phuket charities, and to also buy the track.
One other primary goal is to have enough downloads of the song to help fund and create a Phuket live music pub with open stage and recording studio / training room on Phuket, that will present free lessons and tuition to local underprivileged children from the local schools and orphanages. To date ‘La QingTing’ isn’t open right now but the website is below. (QingTing means: Dragon Fly in Chinese if you are wondering).
About: Mark set-up the Tsunami Day web site to advertise his song Tsunami Day that was inspired from his own particular experiences while he was residing in Patong back in 2004 when the Tsunami hit Patong on boxing day. Much like ‘I’m Coming Home For Christmas’the track Tsunami Day also brought awareness to regional Phuket Charities and . On the ‘Tsunami Day’ site there is numerous ways to greatly help including a Phuket Accommodation and cheap flights to Thailand booking system. Every penny helps.
