2016 Xmas Rock music recorded in a Phuket recording studio Thailand

A brand new 2016 Christmas rock n roll song has been written, created and then recorded in a Phuket recording studio in Thailand by songwriter ‘Mark Hopkins’ with the key aim of providing attention and exposure for the Phuket charity and Orphanage that Mark supports. You can listen and read more by going to the Tsunami Day web site .

The tunes name is: I’m coming home for Christmas and the tracks style is a special up-tempo rock n roll track. Mark wrote and partially recorded a demo music guide of ‘I’m coming home for Christmas’ in late 2015 on Phuket and has kept the demo song since then waiting for the chance to record once again. In August 2016 Mark began the recording process and used local session musicians to record the music durring a six week period. The songs consists of 8 separate tracks and all session players were from the Philippines, including the lead artist ‘Micah Javier’.
Even though I’m coming home for Christmas was recorded on Phuket the mixing and mastering was made in the USA as a result of Mark wanted the best outcome and quality. The music is now ready to be listened to and downloaded by going to the ‘Tsunami Day’ web site.
The main goal of studio recording I’m coming home for Xmas is to bring as many people to the Tsunami Day site as possible and then we hope in-turn they’ll be kind enough to help to at least one or every one of the Phuket island charities, and to also download the track.
One other main goal is to have enough downloads of the song to fund and setup a Phuket live music bar with open stage and studio / teaching room on Phuket, that will provide free instructions and tuition to local underprivileged children from the area’s colleges and children’s orphanages. Up to now ‘La QingTing’ isn’t currently open yet but the web site is below. (QingTing means: Dragon Fly in Chinese if you are wondering).
About: Mark set-up the Tsunami Day internet site to promote his track Tsunami Day which was inspired from his own personal experiences while he was working in Patong in 2004 when the Tsunami devistated Patong on boxing day. Much like ‘I’m Coming Home For Xmas’the track Tsunami Day also brought awareness to local Phuket Charities and children’s Orphanages. On the ‘Tsunami Day’ site there is numerous methods to help including a Thailand Resort and cheap flights to Thailand booking system. Every cent helps.
Credits: Mark would like to credit his sponsors: Michael Dietvorst (CEO of Oriental Living), Stuart Baker (GM of Food Hygiene Asia), Alan Cooke ( MBE ), Adam Goodman (GM of Two Chefs Restaurants) and Cassius Rolfe-Johnson (CEO of Phuket Home Services).
