2016 Xmas Rock music recorded in a Phuket recording studio Thailand

A brand new 2016 Christmas rock-POP track has been written, composed and then studio recorded in a Phuket recording studio in Thailand by songwriter ‘Mark Hopkins’ with the main intention of getting awareness and exposure for the Phuket charity and children’s Orphanages that Mark supports. You can listen and read more by going to the Tsunami Day web site .

The tracks name is: I’m coming home for Christmas and the songs genre is a unique up-tempo rock/rock-pop track. Mark wrote and semi studio recorded a demo song guide of ‘I’m coming home for Christmas’ in 2015 on Phuket island and has kept the demo track since then waiting for the possibility to record once again. In August 2016 Mark started the studio recording process and used session players to studio record the music over a six week period. The track contains 8 separate tracks and all session musicians were from the Philippines, including the lead artist ‘Micah Javier’.
Although I’m coming home for Christmas was recorded on Phuket island the mixing and mastering was made in the United States because of Mark needed the very best outcome and quality. The music is now ready to be heard and downloaded by visiting the ‘Tsunami Day’ site.
The key aim of studio recording I’m coming home for Christmas is to bring as many folks to the Tsunami Day website as we are able to and then hopefully in-turn they will be good enough to give to one or all the Phuket island charities, and to also download the song.
Another primary goal is to have enough downloads of the music to help fund and create a Phuket live music bar with open stage and recording studio / training room on Phuket, that’ll offer free instructions and tuition to local underprivileged children from the neighborhood colleges and orphanages. To date ‘La QingTing’ isn’t currently open yet but the website is below. (QingTing means: Dragon Fly in Chinese if you are wondering).
About: Mark set-up the Tsunami Day web site to advertise his tune Tsunami Day which was influenced from his own personal experiences while he was living in Patong back in 2004 when the Tsunami hit Patong on boxing day. As with ‘I’m Coming Home For Xmas’the song Tsunami Day also brought awareness to local Phuket Charities and children’s Orphanages. On the ‘Tsunami Day’ site there’s numerous methods to simply help including a Thailand Hotel and budget flight booking to Phuket booking system. Every dime helps.
