2016 Christmas Rock n Roll song recorded in a Phuket recording studio Thailand

A new 2016 Christmas rock n roll song has been written, created and then studio recorded in a Phuket recording studio in Thailand by songwriter ‘Mark Hopkins’ with the main purpose of providing attention and exposure for the Phuket charities and Orphanage that Mark supports. You can listen and read more by going to the Tsunami Day, Phuket site .

The tracks title is: I’m coming home for Christmas and the tracks is a special up-tempo rock n roll track. Mark wrote and partially recorded a demo music guide of ‘I’m coming home for Christmas’ in 2015 on Phuket and has kept the demo guide since then awaiting the possibility to record once again. In August 2016 Mark began the recording process and used local session musicians to record the tune over a six week period. The track includes 8 differant tracks and all session players were from the Philippines, including the female lead vocalist ‘Micah Javier’.
Although I’m coming home for Christmas was studio recorded on Phuket the mixing and mastering was made in the USA because of Mark wanted the very best outcome and quality. The music is now ready to be heard and downloaded by visiting the ‘Tsunami Day’ Website.
The key purpose of studio recording I’m coming home for Christmas is to bring as many visits to the Tsunami Day web site as we can and then we hope in-turn they’ll be good enough to contribute to one or all of the Phuket charities, and to also buy the song.
Another primary goal is to get enough downloads of the song to help fund and setup a Phuket live music pub with open stage and recording studio / training room on Phuket, which will provide free lessons and tuition to local underprivileged children from the area’s colleges and children’s orphanages. Currently ‘La QingTing’ is not open right now but the internet site is below. (QingTing means: Dragon Fly in Chinese if you are wondering).
About: Mark set-up the Tsunami Day website to promote his tune Tsunami Day that was influenced from his own personal experiences while he was residing in Patong in 2004 when the Tsunami hit Patong on boxing day. Just like ‘I’m Coming Home For Xmas’the song Tsunami Day also brought awareness to local Phuket Charities and Orphanages. On the ‘Tsunami Day’ site there’s numerous ways to help including a Thailand Accommodation and budget flight booking to Thailand booking system. Every penny helps.
Credits: Mark would like to thank his sponsors: Michael Dietvorst (CEO of Oriental Living), Stuart Baker (GM of Food Hygiene Asia), Alan Cooke ( MBE ), Adam Goodman (GM of Two Chefs Restaurants) and Cassius Rolfe-Johnson (CEO of Phuket Home Services).
